No, but the jury is still out on modifying the chemical composition of the material that forms your guitar in order to make it easier to hit. _________________

A serious question by me: Is it cheating if you use a pedal to activate starpower? I´d like to hear your opinions. |

Yes it is. You are supposed to activate star power with either the Select button or the tilt sensor, otherwise you'd be using an illegal device. _________________

What about RB guitars? You can get star power pedals for them from Harmonix themselves. _________________

After playing some Pro Bass on RB3, I need to ask: Is pausing during a song in WoR or RB3 to rest your arms cheating? Cause you know, auto-rewind. I imagine doing so to make a section easier would fall in the "frowned upon" category, but whatever the leaderboard takes is legal, right? _________________

I don't think it's a problem if you're pausing from time to time to check a path or rest your arm but if it gets excessive like pausing for every note in a hard section then I could see that being frowned upon. |

I have to admit I paused once on my FC of Fury of the Storm. You know, the part that goes from solo E to F which is a trill followed by a chord and a HOPO chord. I know exactly what I was doing wrong but I guess I was just pissed off from always missing there for a bullshit reason. Since it takes like 3 or 4 pauses until the leaderboards don't take your score I don't think there's anything wrong with pausing once, but what I did might have been frowned upon... well it's up to your own judgement I guess. _________________

I don't pause myself (except on very rare occasions, such as a family member interrupting me), however so long as you're not pausing to hit every single note of a hard section you can't do normally then I wouldn't considering it cheating. _________________

Jacking off helps relieve yourself. Let's say you tried fcing the way it ends for an hour, or the glitched note in the catalyst on medium guitar for a couple of hours, and you can't take it no mo', that is when the jacking off comes in handy (haha pun) _________________
