This is pretty overpriced actually...1440 for 11 songs is it? And two songs are the same? Meh.

I hope for everyone's sake that this album is good. Especially Metallica...

I'm pretty sure you are missing something. On the website you can buy the disc alone for $9.99, but the special edition version including the gh3 code is available for $29.99. You can see the difference by scrolling down and clicking each one, and by doing so you will see that only the special edition includes the code for the dlc.

Ah hah. Apparently I was. Thanks for clearing that up, then, I was wondering how they could justify selling it for that little!

Not that overpriced, usually: 3 songs = 500MS Points, 1 song = 200 MS Points..

1440/ 3 is less than 500 and 1440/ 11 is less than 200.

El wrongo!
I've had the album for 2 days now (radio station contest FTW!)
It's VASTLY better than ST Anger.
It's no Master Of Puppets, but it's still great.
Now if only GH got the new ATR stuff like RB is....

this leads me to my question, in Guitar Hero IV, how easy are the HO/POs going to be?

The HOPOs will be so easy that you can bash the frets left and right with your penis and end up hitting the entire solo.

Wait wait wait, Suicide & Redemption is an instrumental, so what if the "special version" is one with singing so that there's a vocals part in World Tour? I didn't miss anything in the original post did I?

This - although not as good as classic (pre Load) Metallica, it's certainly a decent album, with some great moments, and is absolutely worth buying as DLC - I was worried about having to buy it twice (and was planning to just wait until WT to get it0, but with forward compatibility I'm going to be picking it up on Friday

Also, is anybody else worried about bankruptcy ensuing over the next few weeks what with RB2, GH:WT, DLC, more DLC, etc - sigh - time to break open the ol' piggy bank (or sell my luscious middle aged body on the docks doing "favors for sailors")

When are they going to realize that not everybody wants to buy the entire damn album! GH needs to start offering songs in packs and as singles, because as far as DLC goes it's unfortunate that Rock Band is ripping them a new one.

Woohoo!

Still, one thing that sort of bothers me: Is this an actual confirmation that the pack will contain all the other instruments and vocals? I mean, it is sort of common sense to think of this, but still...
